The information provided (nutritional values, recommendations) is for general information only and never replaces professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment by a doctor or nutritionist. Do not use the app if you suffer from eating disorders.
These Terms of Service apply to the use of the "Kalio" app on mobile devices. By using the app, you agree to these terms.
Kalio allows logging meals, scanning barcodes, and analyzing food using artificial intelligence. The app is based on a "Local-First" principle, where data is primarily stored on your device.
Certain functions (such as AI capture without your own API key) require a paid Pro subscription. Billing is handled through the respective app store (Google Play Store / Apple App Store). Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before expiration.
When using AI functions, data is sent to external providers (e.g., OpenAI). We do not guarantee the accuracy of the nutritional information generated by the AI. Please check the information against the packaging if in doubt.
Since Kalio does not use cloud synchronization, the responsibility for backing up the data lies with the user. We recommend regular use of the export function.
We are not liable for damages resulting from incorrect nutritional information or technical failure of the app. Use is at your own risk.
